Badge Glass

Badge Glass is run by the New Jersey based borosilicate glass artist Merritt Henggeler. Originally from Maryville, Missouri, he has been working with borosilicate glass since 2010. He incorporates various Mudra, or hand positions, into his art. Particularly well-known for his Gyan Mudra pendants and banger hanger style-rigs with suspended rotating marbles. He attended Salem Community College in New Jersey and participated in their unique Associates Degree Program in Scientific Glass Technology. Initally he concidered getting a job constructing scientific glass apparatuses for university laboratories. However, Henggeler currently is an industry innovator in the field of functional borocilicate glass art and part of the sector’s next generation of functional borocilicate glass artists.
